Mihaela GHIRCA-BOGDAN is a lawyer at the Bucharest Bar Association and works as a sole practitioner, having over 15 years of professional experience in the field of law, especially in the coordination and management of commercial, administrative and criminal litigation.

After graduating from the Faculty of Law of the Babeș-Bolyai University of Cluj-Napoca, Mihaela completed a Master's degree in Human Rights in France. After completing her studies, she started her professional career as a lawyer at the Registry of the European Court of Human Rights, where she handled cases concerning Romania for 4 years. Subsequently, for a period of almost 10 years he coordinated the litigation department of a large Romanian bank, with responsibilities in managing the enforcement and enforcement measures (civil, tax and criminal) on clients' accounts and a significant part of the litigation by establishing and following up the implementation of the strategy. Represented the bank before civil and criminal courts. At the same time, he coordinated a multidisciplinary team for the recovery of some of the bank's special claims, including recovery measures and litigation outside Romania. All these activities involved, in addition to knowledge of national law and practice, a good knowledge and understanding of European law and the case law of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the European Court of Human Rights.

At the same time, it has collaborated and continues to collaborate with NGOs active in the field of human rights in projects on the rights of persons deprived of their liberty, discrimination, gender-based violence. He has written articles and edited books on human rights.
